Canada: The World’s Best LNG

Canadian liquefied natural gas could lead the way to decreasing global greenhouse gas emissions.

Many countries who don’t possess the same energy abundance as Canada must import natural gas in the form of LNG (liquefied natural gas). Key and growing markets include China, India and Japan. When used to displace coal for power generation, natural gas produces far fewer greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and is abundant and affordable.

Canada is in the early stages of developing LNG export capabilities. The effort is deserving of support as Canadian LNG will be the best in the world: with the lowest GHG emissions, sustainably produced in Canada’s large natural gas fields.
