The Canadian government has announced that Canada’s Ocean Supercluster will receive a portion of the $950 million designated to its superclusters initiative. The initiative is aimed at creating high-tech collaboration strategies for different sectors aimed at fostering growth and creating jobs. The government incentive will be matched by industry investments.
The Ocean Supercluster is based in Atlantic Canada and will use innovation to improve competitiveness in Canada’s ocean-based industries, including oil and natural gas, fisheries and clean energy. Learn more about the Ocean Supercluster; read the federal government’s news release.
