There is no question the world will need more energy in the coming years as the global population grows and emerging economies in places like China and India give rise to a middle class that want many of the things Canadians take for granted: cars, household appliances and the ability to fly to travel. Can we meet this energy demand while still responsibly addressing environmental challenges and reducing greenhouse gas emissions?
The answer is that we will need more of all forms of energy.
